Depth-oriented and trauma-informed therapy that is accessible, affordable, and impactful.
Our Approach
Our Mission
At the PBC, our mission is to provide accessible, affordable and impactful therapy to individuals and families of all backgrounds and identities in the greater Seattle area. We seek to provide psychotherapy that helps individuals to better understand themselves, their histories, and their worlds. This, we believe, will give all of our patients the chance to love, work, and fulfill the utmost of their human potential.
Depth-Oriented Psychotherapy
Our clinic offers psychodynamic, depth-focused work, which we believe to be the most enduringly helpful way to address the emotional struggles and traumas that inhibit human growth and relationships. The various psychoanalytic, humanistic, existential, and phenomenological psychotherapies constitute the main therapeutic approaches that our clinicians employ with their patients.
Who We Help
We are trained to help individuals who struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, attachment and relationship issues, work stress, and family conflicts.
We specialize in helping people who have lived through traumas of all kinds and severities. In our view, learning how to live with - and not against - one's wounds makes it easier to live with them, and allows a person to develop healthier lives and relationships in the process. That work can take time, but it is always meaningful and often transformative.
The PBC is committed to offering its services to the widest possible swath of Seattle’s population. To that end, we are here to help individuals from all socioeconomic, cultural, and gendered backgrounds and identifications.
